Two-vehicle accident slows traffic in Warrington Tuesday afternoon

At least two people were seen being placed into an ambulance after an accident.

A two-vehicle accident sent at least one person to an area hospital just after 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Shetland Drive and Easton Road for a report of an accident. Upon arrival, they encountered a black SUV with heavy front-end damage and a silver Toyota sedan in the intersection.

   

According to reports from the scene, two people were seen being placed into an ambulance with unknown injuries before being transported to area hospitals. It is currently unknown what caused the accident. Traffic in both directions of Easton Road was slowed as crews worked to clear the scene.

Warrington Township Police were assisted at the scene by Warrington Community Ambulance Corps and Central Bucks EMS.
