The Sounds of Summer Concert Series presented by Sands Auto Group is excited to announce award-winning singer/songwriter Jamey Johnson as an addition to the 2025 lineup.
A guiding force in country music for nearly two decades, Johnson has inspired a generation of artists with his unforgettable albums that bridge the gap between traditional country and today’s sound. He will take the stage at the Univest Performance Center in Quakertown, PA on Friday, August 8.
Tickets are now available on UnivestPerformanceCenter.com. Both reserved seating and lawn tickets are available online. Tickets start at $44 for lawn seating and reserved seats range from $54 to $126 depending on the seat location.
Johnson, a 10-time GRAMMY nominee, has been called “one of the greatest country singers of our time,” by The Washington Post. His music has garnered international acclaim and is embraced by fans of classic and contemporary country, as well as Americana and mainstream rock.
The Grand Ole Opry member is also widely regarded as one of the greatest country songwriters of his generation. He is one of only two people in the history of country music (along with Kris Kristofferson) to win two Song of the Year awards in the same year -- for “Give It Away” and “In Color” -- from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association.
His 2008 album, "That Lonesome Song," was certified platinum for one million in sales, and his 2010 double album, "The Guitar Song," received a gold certification and hit No. 1 on the country albums chart. He has received tremendous praise from "The New York Times," "Rolling Stone," "The Wall Street Journal" and other publications, many of which have hailed his albums as masterpieces.
A consummate storyteller, his songs have been recorded by George Strait, Trace Adkins, Willie Nelson, James Otto, Joe Nichols and others. He is “a first-rate preservationist of classic country songwriting…,” says "The New York Times."
The Sounds of Summer Concert Series presented by Sands Auto features a variety of artists from country, classic rock, pop, and more. Jamey Johnson will join the already announced The Ultimate Disney Tribute Band: The Little Mermen (June 28), Yachtley Crew (July 14), Arrival From Sweden: The Music of ABBA (July 16), Get The Led Out (August 29), and Dylan Scott (September 12).

The Sounds of Summer Concert Series supports the Borough of Quakertown’s revitalization efforts by bringing not only our community together but bringing people from all over to our community’s hidden gem.

The Univest Performance Center can comfortably accommodate 3,000 people while providing all essential amenities such as restrooms, concessions, local vendors, merchandise, plenty of parking, and is ADA compliant.
