Charges waived for county court against man accused of filing false reports of child abuse, harassment

Two misdemeanor counts of filing false reports of child abuse, as well as misdemeanor charges of stalking and harassment, were waived for Bucks County Court last week for a Delaware County father.

Richard Michael Szlavik, 37, of Wayne, was arrested in March for allegedly trespassing at a Reliance Court home without permission, and then served with two arrest warrants for violating a protection from abuse order and for filing false reports of child abuse and harassment.

Szlavik remains jailed in Bucks County on 10% of $50,000 cash bail, per court documents. A formal arraignement is set for May 23 with a pre-trial hearing set for July 15.
