Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the early morning hours Tuesday outside the Wawa located at 10 Davisville Road.

According to the Warminster Township Police, the incident took place at 1:37 a.m., when a suspect emerged from a nearby tree line and entered the back seat of an unlocked, unoccupied vehicle in the parking lot.

When the vehicle's owner returned from the store and got inside, the suspect brandished a knife and ordered the victim to drive to multiple ATMs to withdraw cash, police said.
