Traffic disrupted Wednesday evening due to one-vehicle crash near Doylestown

The accident has affected the intersection of Old Easton Road and Swamp Road

A BMW SUV flipped onto its side in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday evening at Old Easton Road/North Main Street and Swamp Road in Buckingham Township, which required the trapped driver to remove themself from the wreck via the sunroof.

The driver was treated at the scene by Central Bucks EMS.

There are no road closures, but traffic is affected around the intersection, which is a meeting point for Buckingham, Plumstead and Doylestown townships and Doylestown Borough.

Central Bucks Regional Police were assisted at the scene by Doylestown Fire Co.
