Jersey Mike's burglarized one minute to midnight Monday, police say

Plumstead Township Police said Jersey Mike’s at the Cross Keys Place shopping center was burglarized one minute to midnight Monday.

Police responded to a report of a smashed window at the eatery at 4349 Swamp Road at 11:59 p.m. and found signs of forced entry into the store, police said.

A thorough search of the building was carried out, and no one was found inside, police said.

During the initial response, a suspect was seen in the area, described by authorities as a lighter-tone male wearing tan overalls and a jacket, according to the report.

A perimeter was established and a search of the surrounding area was conducted, but no suspect was found, police said.
