Edison-Furlong Road closed to through traffic Friday due to downed power lines, trees

The road will remain closed until PECO crews can remove any dangerous electrical lines.

 Edison-Furlong Road is closed to through traffic between Easton Road/Route 611 and Pebble Hill Road Friday morning and will remain closed indefinitely, according to Doylestown Township Police.

The road is closed between Northwoods Lane and Woodcrest Lane due to a tree down, utility lines down and multiple utility poles that were affected during the overnight hours.

PECO crews have been notified and are working to fix down power lines and utility poles.



Edison-Furlong Road is closed to through traffic between Easton Road (Route 611) and Pebble Hill Road. The road is closed completely in the area between Northwoods Lane and Woodcrest Lane due to a tree down, utility lines down and multiple utility poles that were affected. The road may need to remain closed into the day on Friday, March 7th. **UPDATE*** Edison-Furlong Road will be closed between Sauerman Road and Pebble Hill Road for an extended period of time. PECO crews have been notified and are working to fix down power lines and utility poles.
