The Warrington Township Police Department received a heartfelt gesture of appreciation Monday from Mission BBQ of Warminster, who provided lunch for the officers and staff.

The officers expressed their gratitude for the delicious meal on Crimewatch, which offered a brief, but much-needed, moment of enjoyment during their busy day on the job.

“Your kindness and support truly made a difference, and we are grateful for your continued partnership in honoring the men and women who serve our community,” Warrington Police wrote. “The police department took a moment to publicly thank Mission BBQ for going above and beyond to honor the men and women who dedicate themselves to protecting the community.”

Police said the 25 Street Road location’s ongoing generosity is a reminder of the deep bonds that make Warrington Township a special place.
