A Plumstead Township man has admitted to a felony corruption of minors charge in Bucks County Common Pleas Court last week, stemming from an arrest for allegedly having sex with an underage girl.
Fernando Santos Tzij-Noriega, aka Santos Tzub Alfaro, 24, who remains incarcerated at Bucks County jail on 10% of $1 million cash bail, pleaded guilty to the charge at a June 10 pre-trial conference, according to court records.
On Nov. 18, 2024, police received a report that Tzij-Noriega allegedly had sex with a juvenile female in July. He was taken into custody four days later without incident, police said.
Tzij-Noriega will be sentenced Sept. 23, according to court documents. He faces up to seven years in prison, according to Pennsylvania law.
A felony statutory sexual assault of a juvenile charge was withdrawn at a preliminary hearing in March.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
