Police seek ID of scooter-riding alcohol thief at Wawa Friday morning

The incident occurred at the 525 W. Butler Ave. location

New Britain Township Police are seeking the identity of a Wawa shoplifter.

On Friday, at 1:49 a.m., police said the thief rode scooter to the 525 W. Butler Ave Wawa in the Chalfont section of the township.

The suspect then concealed several bottles of alcohol in his pants, before running out of the store through the delivery door near the restrooms, police said. He then left on the same scooter.
