Authorities in Bedminster Township are investigating a series of overnight burglaries that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, June 4, in two residential neighborhoods.
Bedminster Police, along with Pennsylvania State Police and Hilltown Township Police, responded to reports of thefts in the Bedminster Square Development near Dublin Pike and Croft Drive.
According to police, an unknown person or persons entered an unsecured garage and residence, stealing three vehicle key fobs and two men’s wallets.
Later, Bedminster Police received another report from the nearby Bedminster Hunt Development off Bucks Road. In that incident, an unlocked vehicle was entered and rummaged through, likely during the same timeframe overnight, police said.
Police believe these incidents may be related to similar reports in surrounding communities and are actively coordinating with other departments during the investigation.
Residents are urged to check their home surveillance systems for any unusual activity from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning June 5.
Anyone with footage or information is asked to contact Officer Dan Chonko at 215-795-2972 ext. 107 or [email protected]. Tips may also be submitted through the department’s online portal, and anonymity is an option.
Authorities are also asking the public to report any discarded key fobs or wallets found in the area.
