PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP

Plumstead Township seeking businesses, vendors for inaugural Community Day Sept. 6

The event will be followed by Movie Night at 7 p.m.

  • Community

Plumstead Township Police Department and Plumstead Township Parks & Recreation are hosting its (second attempt) first Community Day Event at Hanusey Park on September 6, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by Movie Night starting at 7 p.m., according to the township.

This event will feature “Touch a Truck” presented by Parks & Recreation, law enforcement demonstrations and engagement, presented by Plumstead Police and local businesses presented by the Plumstead and Bucks County communities.

According to Plumstead Police, participating in Community Day can be a fantastic opportunity for a business to engage with the local community, build brand awareness, and give back.

Here are some ideas for how to get involved with Plumstead’s Community Day Event:

  • Interactive Booths:
    • Product Demos: Set up a booth to showcase and demonstrate your products or services. No SALES of products permitted.
    • Hands-On Activities: Offer interactive experiences related to your business Games and Contests: Create fun and engaging games or contests with small prizes.

  • Fitness and Wellness: Gyms or wellness centers can highlight what you have to offer with short fitness demos or interactive activities.

  • Kids' Corner: Create a youth-friendly area with activities such as face painting, balloon animals, or a bouncy castle.

  • Information Booth: Set up an information booth where people can learn more about your business and community involvement.

Booth set-up, including tables and tents, will be the responsibility of the business, according to police.

By actively participating and offering valuable experiences, businesses can create a positive impact, foster goodwill, and strengthen their connection with the community, police said.
