Santa is coming to town a little early — and in a squad car!
On Saturday, July 12, the Plumstead Township Police Department will host its “Pack the Patrol Car” Food Drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Giant Food Store, 4377 W. Swamp Road, Doylestown.
This festive summer event benefits the Bucks County Housing Group, helping provide vital food assistance to families experiencing food insecurity.
Attendees are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items, including canned goods, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, rice, shelf-stable items, as well as personal care products and cleaning supplies.
Santa will be on hand in his cool summer outfit, ready for photos and spreading cheer while supporting a great cause.
Local law enforcement asks the community to join forces to fill the patrol car and fight summer hunger, as every donation counts.
