Barn Plaza Shopping Center in Doylestown Township is on track to welcome a fourth new restaurant as part of its large-scale redevelopment, with plans now in motion for a Burton’s Grill and Bar.
The Boston-based chain, known for its scratch-made menu and upscale casual dining, received approval from township supervisors to pursue a liquor license transfer from a New Hope establishment, according to Bucks County Herald.
While the exact location of Burton’s within the complex has not been confirmed, officials expect the restaurant to be one of several new businesses replacing the now-shuttered Regal Theater on Route 611.
Demolition of the theater is pending, and plans call for three new buildings in that northern section, possibly housing a mix of restaurants, per the report.
Brixmor Property Group, which owns Barn Plaza, has not officially announced all tenants but hinted at a burger-focused eatery and a possible Shake Shack.
Burton’s would join a growing list of recent additions to the shopping center, including First Watch, Chipotle, Honeygrow, and The Juice Pod, according to the Herald.
