Montgomery Township Police said Thursday that the investigation into the collision between a pedestrian and a Lexus sedan last week remains ongoing.

Police said that on July 17, at about 3:14 p.m., officers responded to a report of a struck pedestrian on Doylestown Road near County Line Road.

An investigation has determined that the pedestrian was a 64-year-old man from Lansdale, and he was hit by a silver Lexus sedan as he crossed Doylestown Pike, police said.

The victim received initial treatment on scene before being taken to Grand View Hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment, police said. The victim reportedly suffered facial injuries in the crash.

The driver of the Lexus remained on location.

The Montgomery Township Police Department is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant information to contact the department at 215-362-2301
