Central Bucks School District will unveil a newly redesigned website in early August, featuring a refreshed look and upgraded functionality aimed at improving the user experience for students, families, and staff.
The district’s main site, CBSD.org, will retain much of its existing structure and navigation, but behind the scenes, the platform is getting a major overhaul.
According to Director of Communications and Community Engagement Michael Petitti and Director of Technology and Innovation Jason Jaffe in an email to district residents, the redesign is driven by the retirement of the current content management system (CMS) by Finalsite, the district’s longtime website provider.
The transition moves CBSD.org to a modern platform offering more flexibility, efficiency, and tools for staff who manage the site.
Among the most notable improvements are streamlined navigation and search features, better access to calendars and event information, enhanced accessibility and translation capabilities, and more consistent formatting across school and district-level pages, according to the news release from the district officials.
“We look forward to providing our community with a more seamless and user-friendly online experience,” said Petitti and Jaffe. “This is an important investment in how we share information and connect with those we serve.”
They emphasized that the launch of the new site is only the beginning: Updates to content, organization, and design will continue throughout the 2025–26 school year.
These changes are informed by best practices, website analytics, and community feedback. Once the new site goes live, the district will open an online form to gather input from users to guide ongoing improvements.
The redesigned CBSD.org is expected to go live in the first week of August.
