Warrington Township Police issued nearly 3,000 red-light violations during the first half of 2025, with the highest activity recorded at Easton Road intersections, according to its recent review of the first six-months of the year.
From January 1 to June 30, 2025, the township’s Automated Red-Light Enforcement program (ARLE) resulted in 2,946 Notices of Violation (NOVs) being issued.
Warrington officers approved 77% of all potential violations reviewed, and 71% of violators paid their fines within the initial payment window, according to the police report.
The intersection of Easton Road and Street Road saw the most infractions, particularly the southbound approach with 826 violations. The eastbound approach at Easton and Bristol Roads followed with 613 violations, and the eastbound approach at Street and Easton Roads logged 654 violations.
Here is a breakdown of total violations by intersection approach:
In terms of violator residence, just 12% of tickets were sent to Warrington addresses, while another 11% each went to Doylestown (18901 and 18902) and Warminster. Chalfont and Jamison accounted for 5% and 3%, respectively.
The ARLE program, intended to deter dangerous driving behavior at busy intersections, continues to collect and review footage of potential violations for officer approval before citations are issued.
