Charges including felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct involving fighting were moved onto Bucks County Common Pleas Court against a Perkasie Borough woman arrested for an alleged altercation at a Doylestown Borough bar last month.
Rebecca Barraclough, 38, of the 400 block of Juliana Way, was arrested June 1 following an incident at Chambers 19, at 19 N. Main Street in Doylestown Borough, police allege.
Police were called to the bar after reports of a disorderly patron who was allegedly physically fighting with employees and other patrons and refusing to leave the establishment.
Upon arrival, officers encountered Barraclough, who, police said, resisted efforts to remove her from the premises.
During the altercation, she allegedly grabbed one officer by the throat.
Barraclough is free on $15,000 unsecured bail. She is set to be arraigned in county court in August.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
