1 injured, driver rescued through windshield after 2-car crash Wednesday afternoon

The incident occurred shortly before noon at Curly Hill and Easton roads

A driver of a utility van was rescued through the windshield by first responders and transported from the scene by EMS after becoming trapped when the van flipped onto its driver side after a two-vehicle crash on Easton Road in Plumstead Township Wednesday afternoon.

According to reports from the scene, a white Ford SUV and a white Chevrolet van collided at the intersection of Curly Hill and Easton roads around 11:39 a.m. 

Easton Road was closed at Curly Hill Road for a short period of time. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Southbound Easton Road traffic was diverted down Curly Hill Road.

Plumstead Police were assisted at the scene by Plumsteadville Fire, Doylestown Fire Co. No. 1, and Point Pleasant-Plumstead EMS.
