Plumstead Township Police announced a successful and generous donation drive during its recent "Christmas in July Pack the Patrol Car" event, and thanked all residents and donors.
"We would like to extend a special thank you to Giant at 4377 West Swamp Road for their invaluable assistance in making this event a success. Through the collective efforts of our community, we are proud to report that an astonishing 2,821 pounds of food, personal care items, and cash donations were collected and donated to the Bucks County Housing Group Community Food Pantry," police said.
Plumstead authorities thanked Plumsteadville Fire Company, Plumstead Township Police Explorers, and Fred Beans, who worked tirelessly to make the event possible.
"Your contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of those in need," police said.
