Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an attempted burglary at an occupied apartment in Trumbauersville Borough after two suspects reportedly tried to force their way inside late last month.

According to state police in Dublin, troopers were dispatched to the 100 block of North Main Street around 11:49 p.m. on June 30 for a report of a burglary in progress.

Investigators said an unidentified man and woman attempted to enter the apartment by force, but fled the scene before authorities arrived.

No injuries were reported, and police say the investigation remains active.

The attempted break-in was publicly disclosed on Monday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at Dublin.
