Breaking: Emergency crews respond to accident after vehicle veers off road and strikes trees, according to report

Emergency crews responded to a vehicle accident Saturday afternoon around 2:09 p.m. on the 1300 block of Upper Stump Road in New Britain Township. 

A driver in a black Nissan Rogue was traveling along Upper Stump Road when she lost control of her vehicle resulting in the vehicle ending up in a grass bank on the side of the street. The vehicle reportedly struck trees and suffered significant front-end damage and side damage.

The driver was able to get herself out of the vehicle and was evaluated by emergency personnel at the scene. 

Emergency crews from New Britain Police, Dublin Fire Company, and Chal-Brit responded to the scene.  

Expect traffic delays in the area of near Upper Stump Road. Officials have closed down the street to only one lane.
