A Warrington Township man has been arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault with extreme indifference, misdemeanor assault and harassment for his alleged role in a violent confrontation last week.
On Tuesday,July 1,, at 11:34 p.m., police responded to the 2500 block of Diane’s Way for an altercation involving Xiangsing He, 47, police said.
Police said a verbal argument within the household escalated into physical violence when He allegedly slapped someone in the face.
Other family members stepped in to separate the parties, to which He became more aggressive, police said.
He allegedly ran into the kitchen, retrieved a kitchen knife and charged toward a victim. People intercepted He before he attacked, and he dropped the weapon, and instead rushed toward the victim, punching them in the face, police allege. He also bit another victim, police said.
He was arraigned, with bail set at 10% of $50,000 cash, and remanded to Bucks County jail.
A preliminary hearing is set for July 28 before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman.
