A Warminster Township man is accused of sharing and possessing more than 600 photos and videos of child pornography via Google Photos since September 2024.
Christopher L. O’Neill, 46, of the 400 block of A Olive St., Warminster, was charged Tuesday by Bucks County detectives with two felony counts of possession of child pornography, felony disseminating photos of child sex acts, and felony criminal use of a communications device, per court records.
On May 8, 2025, investigators received a cypertip from Google regarding a Google user, identified as O’Neill, who saved, shared or uploaded 694 photos and videos of child sexual abuse material on 31 dates between Sept. 26, 2024 and May 7, 2025, according to the criminal complaint.
The photos and videos depicted prepubescent females engaged in sexual acts with adult males, per investigators.
Google provided IP addresses of the user to investigators, who traced them to Verizon and T-Mobile, according to the affidavit. Verizon records revealed the IP addresses used in the sharing of CSAM belonged to O’Neill, and the T-Mobile device used in sharing of files was also listed as belonging to O’Neill, detectives said.
On June 25, detectives conducted surveillance of O’Neill’s apartment, where he was seen leaving his home, walking to a neighboring business, and then re-entering his home. His vehicle, a 1998 Subaru, was seen in the driveway, along with three other cars registered to other residents of the home, police said.
On June 27, at 6:14 a.m., authorities executed a search warrant on O’Neill’s property. O’Neill was interviewed at home, police said. Prior to starting the questioning, O’Neill allegedly said, “Are you here for what is in my phone?”
O’Neill allegedly admitted he was in the process of removing photos he uploaded to Google Photos, which he said was wrong and something he was not doing for a long time.
O’Neill told police he stumbled across the CSAM when he was on the dark web, per the affidavit, but would not admit to the images being CSAM.
He told police there may be images on his phones; multiple cell phones were seized during the search, police said, including a Samsung Galaxy S24, a Galaxy S22 and a Galaxy S20.
When investigators unlocked one of his phones for analysis, a video depicting apparent CSAM was playing on the phone, police allege. One phone had more than 110 CSAM files, including nude images of children and toddlers engaged in sex acts and bondage with adults, police said.
The analysis identified 107 files of CSAM from Interpol’s International Child Sexual Exploitation Database and three files from Project VIC, an international initiative designed to help identify and rescue victims of child sexual abuse by enabling efficient categorization and sharing of known CSAM, police said. According to investigators, O’Neill also possessed numerous A.I.-generated nude images of a known juvenile female celebrity.
There is no relation between the defendant and Magisterial District Judge Christopher E. O’Neill, who arraigned O’Neill and set bail.
O’Neill was jailed on 10% of $500,000 cash bail on Tuesday, according to court records. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 11 at 1:30 p.m. before O’Neill.
In a separate case filed Wednesday by Warminster Township Police, O’Neill was charged with felony burglary and criminal trespassing, stemming from a June 28 incident. O'Neill is accused of illegally entering a home in Warminster and stealing various items, including a pair of girl’s underwear.
He was arraigned Thursday by O’Neill, who set bail at $2 million cash, per court documents. A hearing on the burglary case is set for July 21 at 1 p.m.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
