A Warrington Township police officer was recently recognized for his dual service to the community and the country during a special Civilian Employer Day hosted by the 111th Attack Wing of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.
Lt. Robert Meditz represented the Warrington Township Police Department at the event in support of Officer Timothy Rihl, who serves both as a police officer in the township and as a member of the Air National Guard. The visit offered a behind-the-scenes look at the 111th’s mission, with particular focus on MQ-9 Reaper operations.
“It was a privilege to witness firsthand the professionalism, dedication, and critical work being done by the Airmen,” the department said in a statement. “We are proud to support Officer Rihl and all citizen-Airmen who balance their military and civilian duties with such commitment.”
The department extended its gratitude to the 111th Attack Wing for their hospitality and continued service to Pennsylvania and the nation.
