Warrington Township Police announced Friday afternoon that they are investigating a reported attempted abduction of a female high school senior that occurred Monday in the Willow Knoll section of the township at 6:25 a.m., and are asking residents to check security camera footage.
An 18-year-old woman told police she was walking to her school bus near Pileggi and Vincent roads, when a black 4-door pickup truck pulled up next year, police said. A light-skinned white or Hispanic man dressed in all black clothing and wearing a mask, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build, exited the driver’s side rear door and grabbed the woman by her arm, according to the report.
The teen managed to free herself and kicked the man in the knee, police said. The driver, also dressed in black clothing and wearing a mask, yelled, “Come on man!” to the other suspect in English, police said.
The victim ran and hid among several parked cars in the area and the truck was last seen heading toward Oxford Drive, police said.
Authorities said the victim attends a school in another school district and was alone when the alleged abduction occurred.
She reported the incident to school officials, who then notified police.
Anyone with video or other information on the attempted abduction can call Detective Timothy Williams at 215-343-3311, ext. 223, or email [email protected].
