At the Thursday action meeting, the North Penn School District Board of School Directors voted to appoint Tara B.G. Houser as the new Chief Financial Officer.
Houser joins NPSD with decades of experience, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer of the Central Bucks School District.
Houser has also worked as the Director of Business Services and Business Administrator for the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit.
Houser replaces Steve Skrocki, who will be retiring in April 2025 after over a decade with the North Penn School District.
“I am very excited to join the North Penn School District at this time of exciting growth,” said Tara B.G. Houser. “My goal as CFO is to provide all district stakeholders with clarity and transparency on the financial health and activity of the district along with actively working to provide the support services at the level of excellence this community is accustomed to. Houser will begin with the North Penn School District in June 2025.
