A three-car crash on Swamp Road at Stump and Upper Stump roads sent one person to an area hospital via Point Pleasant-Plumsteadville EMS and closed the intersection Monday afternoon.

The crash involved a black Buick sedan, whose driver needed to be rescued via the driver's side from the vehicle, a red Chevrolet work van, a Ford F-350 with a flatbed.

The Buick sustained heavy front-end damage in the crash, while the other vehicles sustained moderate damage, per reports from the scene.

Swamp Road was closed in both directions between Dublin Borough and Fountainville at the intersection while emergency responders assessed the scene.

Plumstead Township and New Britain Township police departments were assisted by Dublin Fire Co., and New Britain Fire Police.
