Breaking: Rescue crews transport driver after car ends up nose down in ditch

Both directions of Doylestown Pike are closed at Grays Lane and Chatham Place.

Both directions of Doylestown Pike are closed between Grays Lane and Chatham Place after a one-vehicle crash in the 400 block of Doylestown Pike in Montgomery County.

Crews from Colmar Fire Company, Montgomery Township Fire Department, Chal-Brit EMS and VMSC Landsdale arrived on scene, among other rescuers, and helped transport a female driver to the hospital after her silver GMC Acadia was run off the road and ended up nose down in a ditch.

Those at the scene report that the driver was conscious, and that the car sustained heavy front-end damage. Both airbags were deployed, according to reports from the scene.
