There are 166 mooring spots (160 dry and six wet) located in Peace Valley Park. The opportunity to register for a mooring spot is determined by a lottery that is open to Bucks County residents.
Registration for the 2025 Mooring Lottery ends on Feb. 5. There is no cost to register for the lottery.
Seniors and veterans will get special consideration in the lottery, meaning each one gets an extra “name” put in for the drawing.
Anyone who had a mooring spot last year must re-register for the lottery for a chance to regain the spot in 2025. Those who had a spot in 2024 and are chosen in the lottery will be placed in the same spot as last year.
Those wishing to change spots this year will have to register at the same time as other lottery winners.
Winners will be announced via email on Feb. 7, according to Bucks County Parks and Recreation. Then, registration opens for lottery winners on Feb. 11 through March 2.
Eligibility begins at 18 years old.
