The Indian Valley Public Library has announced the launch of a new Celtic Cultural Club, a monthly gathering that invites community members to explore the rich and diverse heritage of Celtic culture and history.

The club will explore regions such as Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man, Cornwall, Galicia, and Brittany and delve into a variety of topics, offering insights into the traditions, history, and contributions of Celtic communities around the world. Everyone, regardless of their ancestry, is welcome to participate, said an Indian Valley Public Library press release.

January’s discussion will focus on the celebrated Scottish poet Robert Burns, who is celebrated every January to honor his birthday. The club will discuss Robert Burns, talk about the traditions associated with Burns Night and read some of Burns’ poetry, said the release.

The Celtic Cultural Club meets on the fourth Saturday of each month at 2 p.m. in the Community Room of the Indian Valley Public Library at 100 E Church Ave Telford, PA 18969.
