Unknown counterfeiter forged license plate for tolls and victim gets the bills, police say

The incident is under investigation

Pennsylvania State Police out of Dublin said this week that an investigation is ongoing involving a forgery incident in Upper Bucks County involving a copied license plate.

Police said an unknown person made a copy of the license plate of a victim residing on Kintner Hill Road in Nockamixon Township, at some point between Oct. 7 and Dec. 31, police said.

The counterfeiter has been using this copied license plate for tolls in New York and New Jersey, police said. The victim has also been receiving the bills for the tolls since October, police said.
