WWI ordnance device found during Bucks County remodel, police say

The incident was reported Friday morning.

Richland Township Police reported that an ordnance believed to be a World War I training bomb was found during a remodel of a home on Hickon Road on Friday morning.

Police said officers were dispatched to a report of a found bomb on Friday at 11:32 a.m. The bomb was found in the basement by a contractor who was remodeling the property, police said.

Allentown Bomb Squad responded and removed the ordnance, police said.
