Pennsylvania State Police out of Dublin announced this week that a person or persons of interest have been identified in the burglary and theft of a cash lock box containing $1,753.91 from a business on John Fries Highway in Milford Township.

Police said troopers were dispatched to Willauer Farms on Jan. 6 at 9:46 a.m. for a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, the victim told police that the night before, at 10:45 p.m., a man forcefully gained access through the back door of the business, police said.

The burglar then went into an office area and then behind a point-of-sale desk, where he took a lock box containing the cash, according to the report.

The thief, described as a tall, thin Caucasian male, left the scene in a large light-colored SUV, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
