Warrington Township Police, along with Homeland Security Investigations, the DEA, FBI, FDA, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and the Bucks County District Attorney's Office, have seized the domain of an illicit online prescription drug sales service, which has been connected to the fatal overdose of a Bucks County EMS first responder.
In April 2022, Warrington Police began an investigation into an online pharmacy vendor operating as "Sure Life Solutions."
The investigation was spawned three days after the victim passed away, when a FedEx package containing six individually-sealed blister packs containing a combination of Valium and Rivotril, or clonazepam, was delivered to the deceased's address, police said.
Warrington Police began working with HSI in Philadelphia and determined that the drugs were ordered from a clear net pharmacy vendor, police said.
Law enforcement conducted several controlled purchases of narcotics from Sure Life Solutions, which were all obtained without legitimate prescriptions, and were able to track the pharmacy operations to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, authorities allege.
In October and December of 2024, participating law enforcement obtained two search and seizure warrants issued in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania to seize the current domain of Sure Life Solutions, listed as https://surelifesolutions.company.site.
The HSI Cyber Crimes Task Force partnered with the National Cyber Forensics and Training Alliance in addition to the domain provider companies who successfully seized the domain effective December 20, 2024, police said.
Subsequent to seizure, a splash page was uploaded to the domain, highlighting the participating agencies.
This is an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force sponsored-investigation, police said.
