Warrington Township Police said three New Jersey teenagers under 16 were arrested, processed and taken to the Bucks County Juvenile Detention Center for stealing from Home Depot and driving a car reported stolen out of Trenton, NJ.

Police said that on New Year’s Eve, a Warrington officer was conducting a routine patrol check near Home Depot at 650 Easton Road, when police noticed three male teenagers displaying suspicious behavior as they exited a car.

Upon checking the registration, police discovered it had been reported stolen, authorities said.

The males returned to the car, during which one teen allegedly discarded stolen items valued at $30, police allege. The teens, ranging in age from 14 to 15, were detained by police.

A search uncovered a small amount of marijuana in possession of one teen, and a key fob that belonged to the stolen car, police said.

The teens were charged with theft of a motor vehicle and retail theft, police said.
