Teens arrested for daytime thefts from unlocked cars at apartment complex, police say

The suspects were caught allegedly discarding items they had stolen from vehicles in a wooded area

Two juveniles have been arrested, charged and released to parents following an investigation into thefts from unlocked vehicles at the Westminster Apartments on Valley Road in Warrington Township.

Investigators are also looking into the same two juveniles as suspects in package thefts from the lobby of two buildings at the apartments.  

Police said on Wednesday at 3:25 p.m., officers were dispatched to the apartment complex for reports of two juveniles entering unlocked cars.

The suspects were caught allegedly discarding items they had stolen from vehicles in a wooded area near the apartments, police said. The juveniles were located and arrested.

Authorities said the juveniles will move through the Bucks County Juvenile Court system.
