Firefighters extinguish car fire Sunday afternoon near Doylestown Hospital

The incident was reported around 2:15 p.m.

A small sedan was reported on fire near the entrance to Doylestown Hospital on West State Street Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters were dispatched at 1:41 p.m. to the 500 block of West State Street in Doylestown Township for the fire.

Three units from Doylestown Fire Co. responded to the scene and had the fire under control by 3 p.m.

West State Street was reopened by 4 p.m.
