First responders were called out to the 1400 block of Souderton Road in Hilltown Township for a report of a vehicle accident with entrapment at 4:28 p.m. Thursday.
On arrival, crews encountered a red dump truck style vehicle had went off the roadway way and struck a utility pole, causing it to split in half. Emergency personnel determined no rescue was needed and that all occupants were out of the vehicle.
No injuries have been reported at this time, and it is unknown what caused the accident.
Dublin Fire Company was assisted at the scene by Silverdale Fire Company, Hilltown Police, and Point Pleasant—Plumsteadville Emergency Medical Services.
Souderton Road was closed between West Dublin Pike and Minsi Trail for a short time while crews processed the scene.
