The Pennridge School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Craig Bramble as its new Director of Operations.
Mr. Bramble has been the Assistant Director of Operations at Pennridge since 2020. Bramble replaces Kelly Harper who resigned from the School District last month.
Pennridge Superintendent, Angelo Berrios says Bramble’s work ethic over the past several years continues to make him an asset to Pennridge.
“Throughout his tenure as Assistant Director of Operations, Mr. Bramble has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to operational excellence, ensuring the seamless functionality of our facilities while prioritizing the
needs of students and staff. While serving as the Assistant Director of Operations, he gained experience and a strategic approach to operational management, which will facilitate a smooth transition into this leadership role. Most importantly, his student-centered philosophy highlights the critical link between well-maintained learning environments and academic success. We are confident that his leadership will further enhance the district’s operational efficiency and contribute meaningfully to the overall educational experience of our students," Berrios said.
Bramble has proven over the years that he has accrued knowledge of building operations through the hard work of skilled maintenance workers and custodians at the various places he’s had the honor of working.
"Each location has taught me lessons both good and bad. Things you want to take with you for future utilization,
and what you learned will not work out well in future endeavors. In everything I have encountered, I’ve learned that effective communication and teamwork/having the right team members is what takes you through from project to project. I think what will continue to make Pennridge Operations an effective department is the continued success of attaining the right team members and bringing the skills needed for future successes," Bramble said.
Bramble plans to continue the District’s new initiative of celebrating the invaluable staff committed to making Pennridge a premier school district every day.
"Throughout my time with the district as the Assistant Director of Operations, one thing I have heard regularly is maintenance workers/custodians wishing there could be more recognition of what they do throughout the year. A lot of the work we do is 'behind the curtain.' and often goes unnoticed, because we go about day to day working in & on areas that are behind the scenes," Bramble said.
"One thing I admire about our Superintendent, Angelo Berrios, is how he has done a great job pointing out what is great about Pennridge and showing all the great things people/departments are doing and participating in. I feel like the people of our school district would be amazed at what the employees of this department do day to day, and what skills they bring to the table. We accomplish a lot internally as a team, and I would love to find a way to highlight that so they can be recognized for the service they provide to the school district," Bramble said.
"I’m excited to put forth my style of leadership and teamwork-driven initiatives. I am a firm believer in the “it takes a village’ mindset, so I enjoy collaborating with others to achieve our goals. This is not only my job, but my community I live in, so I look forward to representing the district to the best of my abilities," he said.
Bramble grew up in Doylestown and a few years after attending college at East Stroudsburg University, moved into Perkasie borough with his wife Megan and two daughters; Azlynn, 8, and Merida, 4.
"We love the community here and are very 'Pennridge Proud' citizens," he said.
