Local entrepreneurs have a chance to apply and register to be on the hit ABC Emmy-winning TV show “Shark Tank” during an open casting call in Philadelphia on Friday, April 11.
The casting call is at The Event Center at Rivers Philadelphia, in partnership with WPVI-TV, beginning at 9 a.m. Numbered wristbands will be handed out until 11 a.m. Contestants may start lining up as early as 8 a.m. Pitches begin at 10 a.m.
While Sharks themselves will not be at the casting call, contests will pitch their business, product, or idea for one minute to a casting team member/producer.
If selected, you and your idea move n to the next phase. Callbacks will begin in summer.

Rivers will offer free parking and a complimentary shuttle between the main entrance and the Riversuites at The Battery hotel.
Season 16 of "Shark Tank" airs Friday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
