Kingdom Patrons, Inc., a Perkasie-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering Christian-based nonprofit organizations, many of which serve low-income and underserved populations, is proud to announce that its application to the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) has been approved for $828,590 in tax credits.
In collaboration with nearly 30 generous local businesses, such as Integrated Security, Bergey’s Chevrolet, Blooming Glen Contractors, Excel Communications Worldwide, Harleysville Bank, and Denney Electric Supply, this approval underscores the organization's commitment to transforming communities and addressing critical local needs.
The funds, awarded under the Special Program Priorities (SPP) of the NAP, will directly support Kingdom Patrons’ Community Partners Impact Initiative at the Glassworks Campus in Perkasie, serving as a secondary site for the RE:VIVALS Community Outreach Center. Located at 306 N. 5th Street, this initiative focuses on revitalizing a severely blighted industrial site into a thriving community hub, designed to provide essential services such as food distribution, educational programs, and other programs that focus on low-income families in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
The Glassworks Campus project exemplifies Kingdom Patrons’ mission to strengthen Christian non-profits and uplift communities through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions. By addressing food insecurity, community service and engagement needs, and limited educational support, the initiative will significantly improve the quality of life for residents across the region.
“With this incredible funding support through the Neighborhood Assistance Program, we are one step closer to creating a transformative community hub,” said Derek Loux of Kingdom Patrons, Inc. John Wahlers, of Kingdom Patrons adds, “This milestone is a testament to the power of community collaboration and our shared commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.”
"The Department of Community and Economic Development is proud to recognize the overwhelming support from the 29 businesses that have come together to make the Glassworks Project a reality through the Neighborhood Assistance Program, said Rick Vilello, Deputy Secretary for Community Affairs and Development, DCED. “We are thrilled to see such an extraordinary response and look forward to the lasting impact this project, fueled by private-public partnerships, will have on the region."
Kingdom Patrons will be hosting a Groundbreaking Ceremony on Tuesday, February 18 at 3:30pm at the Glassworks Campus to mark the official start of construction for the community-driven project. State and Local officials, stakeholders, and key executives from area businesses will be in attendance, all of which have had integral roles in making this project possible.
