Roadways in Doylestown Township continue to remain closed days after heavy winds brought down trees and power lines across the county.

Doylestown Township Police said Wednesday morning that the following roadways remain closed due to downed trees and wires:

  • Pebble Hill Road between Clemens Road and Turk Road
  • Lenape Lane between Glen Drive and Woodview Drive
  • Short Road between Valley Green Drive and Pineview Drive

Police said motorists must not drive around posted barricades, as they are in place for public safety.

Doylestown Police had to speak to several motorists Wednesday morning who drove around the barricades.
