A Friday evening car fire has slowed traffic in Warrington Township as fire crews respond to the scene.

According to dispatch, a car fire was reported in the 200 block of Easton Road in Warrington on Friday, Feb. 14 at 3:34 p.m. A small-sized SUV had extensive front-end damage and had endured a fire, according to those at the scene.

The four lanes of traffic in the area were reduced to one lane, limiting travel in the area. Drivers are asked to avoid the vicinity as crews work to clear the roadway.

No injuries were reported at this time, and the driver was able to leave the vehicle.

Warrington Fire Company, among other first responders, were working at the scene. More information will be published as it is shared by authorities.
