One of two people from Miami wanted by Central Bucks Regional Police for felony forgery, theft and identity theft offenses related to the cashing of fraudulent checks belong to a New Britain Borough resident in October is in custody of police following extradition from Florida on Thursday.
Gisela Rosalin Crichlow, 25, is charged with one felony count each of forgery, theft by deception, identity theft, and receiving stolen property, as well as misdemeanor writing bad checks, according to court records.
Authorities allege Crichlow and another defendant, Andy Javar Salas-Martinez, 24, also of Miami, forged and cashed four fraudulent checks totaling $16,500 from the account of a victim of Carousel Circle.
The checks were cashed in Hialeah and Miami, police said.
Salas-Martinez was arrested in Miami-Dade County on Christmas Eve. There is no word regarding his extradition to Pennsylvania.
