The Chamber Inclusion Council of The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County will recognize 30 African-American high school students from across 11 area schools during Black History Month as part of its 2nd Annual “A Celebration of Rising Stars” event on Feb. 27 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Montgomery County Community College.
The students selected are excelling in their area of passion, but are doing so without commendations or awards.
Chamber members and the public are welcome to sponsor and support a high school student for $150 for the event.
Sponsorship of a student and their families include introduction of students representing one of the participating high schools, an ad in the commemorative program book and swag for student gift bags.
Contact Kim Nguyen at [email protected] for additional details. Sponsorships are limited.
