Using a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter, a K9 unit and a drone, law enforcement agencies, including New Britain Township Police, Central Bucks Regional Police Department, and Doylestown Township Police, banded together Wednesday morning to locate an endangered juvenile who had threatened to harm himself.

At 8:25 a.m., investigators were dispatched to the area of the Doylestown Borough train station and its train tracks to search a large area from Doylestown’s Moravian Tile Works to the north shore of Peace Valey Park, police said.

The juvenile was found safe in New Britain Borough at 11:10 a.m., police said.

At 9:30 a.m., Doylestown Police announced the active investigation near the New Britain train station, with no threat to the public.

An hour later, New Britain Township Police notified the public that they were aiding in the investigation and a state police helicopter was helping in the search.
