Volunteers from Sellersville Volunteer Fire Department quickly took control of the aftermath of a two-vehicle rollover crash Sunday evening in Hilltown Township, Bucks County, in which a driver saved themselves from entrapment.
The collision took out the traffic signal for westbound Orchard Road at Diamond Street, police said, and temporary stop signs are in place.
Shortly after 5 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle crash with rescue at the intersection, with Bucks County emergency dispatch receiving calls of two vehicles involved in a crash, with one on its side.
The department posted on its website that the second car was off the roadway, with one person initially reported as trapped inside. However, the driver was able to remove themselves from the wreck, the fire department said.
A rescue unit from Sellersville Fire arrived and split its crew to control hazards, while its engine company provided a blocking position.
The scene was turned over to Hilltown Township Police for investigation.
Hilltown Police, Sellersville Fire Police, and Chal-Brit Regional EMS assisted at the scene.
There were no reported injuries or medical transports.
