The two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Hilltown Township, Bucks County, at Schoolhouse Road and Bethlehem Pike sent two people to the hospital and none to the morgue, as police dispelled rumors Saturday morning that a fatality occurred in the wreck.
Police said the initial 911 call came in at 4:16 p.m. for an accident involving a Dodge Caravan minivan and a Toyota Camry sedan. An investigation found that the Camry was westbound on Schoolhouse Road, and turned left onto Bethlehem Pike from the stop sign, in front of the minivan, which was northbound on Bethlehem Pike, police said.
A 20-year-old man from Sellersville suffered non-critical injuries, and a 49-year-old man from Philadelphia suffered a minor leg injury, police said. Both were taken by ambulances to Grand View Hospital for treatment.
Traffic was diverted around the scene for about three hours, with the scene finally cleared at 7:25 p.m.
The accident investigation was conducted by the Hilltown Township Police Department, with assistance from the Bucks County District Attorney's Crash Investigation Unit, and Telford, Perseverance of Souderton, and Sellersville fire companies.
At this time a charging decision has not been made, police said.

On Friday, Hilltown Township prohibited left turns onto Bethlehem Pike from Schoolhouse Road, and from Bethlehem Pike onto Schoolhouse Road, as a new traffic pattern is temporarily in place during a bridge reconstruction on Route 113.
On Monday, Jan. 20, PennDOT began construction on a bridge replacement on Route 113/Souderton Road over a branch of Mill Creek in the Bucks County municipality.
During the construction, Route 113 is closed between Bethlehem Pike and Diamond Street through late May.
Traffic is being detoured to alternative routes, including Diamond Street, Route 152/East Park Avenue, and Bethlehem Pike, according to PennDOT.
Trucks are being diverted to Route 152/East Walnut Street/East Park Avenue and Bethlehem Pike, in order to navigate around the closure.
