A client at a Milford Township healthcare facility is facing felony charges after Pennsylvania State Police said he smashed multiple vehicles in the facility’s parking lot with a metal cigarette dispenser during an outburst late last month, causing nearly $6,000 in total damage.

Kristopher Jason Schwartz, 24, of Chester, was charged with six counts of felony criminal mischief and a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge following the Nov. 24 incident, according to a criminal complaint filed by state police.

Police said the disturbance began around 10:15 a.m. when Schwartz became irate about his current living conditions while outside the rear of the property.

According to the affidavit, Schwartz picked up a tall exterior cigarette receptacle and used it to strike several parked vehicles. A facility employee who witnessed the incident told police Schwartz moved through the lot hitting cars before troopers arrived, police said.

When police made contact moments later, Schwartz had a superficial cut on his left hand and blood on his shorts. He admitted causing the damage, investigators said.

Troopers documented six damaged vehicles, including three owned by the healthcare facility and three belonging to employees, per the complaint.

Damage included shattered windshields, a broken window, dents and scratches, and a sheared-off driver-side mirror. The total loss was estimated at $5,850, according to charging documents.

Schwartz was arrested at the scene and later arraigned on the charges. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for last week before Magisterial District Judge Lisa Gaier, but the results have not yet been updated by the district court, as of Dec. 11.

Schwartz remains jailed on 10% of $100,000 cash bail in Bucks County.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
